SMS announces new leadership to power the smart energy revolution: Ian Smyth has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the SMS Group — bringing extensive experience across the energy transition and electricity networks sector.

Following the acquisition of SMS, Smart Meter Assets 1 Ltd, Horizon Energy Infrastructure UK, Horizon Energy Infrastructure DE, Horizon Water Infrastructure, and our company by global investment firm KKR, Ian’s expertise will be instrumental in guiding the next phase of our strategic journey and growth.

Together, we’ll continue to accelerate the UK’s and Germany’s transition to net zero and unlock new opportunities across the low-carbon infrastructure, water and energy sectors.
